The future tougher demands on efficiency, productivity and profitability have determined the shape of the new Volvo FH16. Since transportation is more and more integrated into the production process, trucking companies must use their vehicles more effectively, in order to maintain profitability. The new FH-series is characterized by a wind tunnel aerodynamically shaped cab design, low weight and newly designed engines that have been specially optimized with respect to fuel consumption and emissions. The biggest driver version is the 16-liter engine with electrically controlled fuel injection and turbocharger. It delivers 520 hp at 1800 rev / min. and its wear resistance and reliability had been proven for several years in the F-16 series. The new FH cab provides maximum flexibility in terms of comfort and economy. To reduce fuel consumption, it can be provided with a series of spoilers.
The design of the 3-axle trailer comes from the 4-times European champions airbrush Karl Binder, the motifs from Munich and impressive landscapes made with a spray gun.
