Compared with American soldiers, Japanese infantrymen of the 2nd World War did not have particularly modern equipment or weaponry. However, they made up for this deficiency with an aggressive spirit and masterly camouflaging skills which allowed them to disappear into the background, making them formidable and dangerous opponents especially in jungle warfare.
