The Falklands War was an armed conflict between Argentina and Great Britain over the Falkland Islands which lasted from April to June 1982. Paratroopers were used in the recapture by British armed forces. These were equipped as standard with automatic weapons. However they also had larger machine guns types L7A2 and L4A4, mortars and anti-tank rocket launchers.
