The Titanic was the largest passenger liner of its day and the sinking of Titanic on April 12, 1912 resulted in the loss of over 1500 passengers and crew. Many of the maritime safety procedures and precautions followed today are the result of lessons learned from this tragic event.
Minicraft Models marks this anniversary with the release of the new RMS Centennial Titanic. This kit contains over 400 separate parts molded in what is recognized as the most popular scale for plastic model ships. The kit features a one piece hull, engraved deck and hull detail, decals, fine rigging line and commemorative Centennial plaque. When completed the model measures almost 30" long which makes it the largest, most accurate plastic model of the Titanic available anywhere.
