With every month that goes by during the Clone Wars, the Republic finds itself increasingly confronted with the problem of producing more advanced weapons to counter the apparently inexhaustible resources of the Separatists can. Hopes rest on the powerful Republic Star Destroyers of the Venator-class. They go back to the ships of the Acclamator class, which are used at the beginning of the Clone Wars.
