'' M-3 Armoured Scout Car ''
The M3 Scout Car is one of the early AFV developments from the US Army in WWII. It is a light armord recon. vehicle, and the Army's experience with this lead to the development of M2/3 armored half-track. The model orginated with Max Model of Japan in the late 1970's, a company which had been run by Mr. Yasuo Ohtshuka -- a famous animator and also an expert on the US Jeep & other Allied soft skins. Their products went far ahead of time, highly detailed with many parts like kits seen today. Unfortunately, the toolings are of 30 years old and some modeling skills to help it all fit just like it should will be needed. A few parts are begging to be replaced with bits from more modern kits, or photo-etched sets, but still, this is the only injection plastic model kit of the M3 Scout Car. No figure included.
