M-20 SCOUT CAR
The M-20 is a derivative of the M-8 Armored Car. It was developed in 1944 to provide US forces with a fast, all-terrain reconnaissance vehicle.
The M-20 was nearly identical to the armored car versions, but devoid of the 37mm cannon. This made it totally inadequate against enemy tanks, and so it was used to escort infantry units. All different versions of the M-20 were used in the final year of WWII. As with all US military vehicles, they were used by a plethora of foreign nations in the years following the war.
