It came as quite a shock for Germans when they encountered the Russian T-34 during Operation Barbarossa. The T-34, if properly employed, was more than a match for the invading tanks of the German Army. The Model 1941, armed with a 76mm gun, received some incremental improvements, and a cast turret appeared alongside the original welded one.
This kit is an excellent rendition of this tank, featuring this type of cast turret. In fact, this cast turret is a completely new item, and is certainly the most accurate ever produced in this scale.
