German Schnellboot / Fast Attack Boat GEPARD-KLASSE 1
To reach in sea areas with shallow water and optimum combat effectiveness in confined spaces, particularly versatile marine vessels are required.
The 7th Fast Patrol Boat Squadron of the German Navy has ten high-tech speedboats CHEETAH the class that satisfies those requirements.
These boats are used for maritime surveillance and protection of waterways and coastlines.
But they are equipped with 4 Seezielflugkörpern MM 38 Exocet, a GDC RAM air missile system and a 76mm OTO Melara gun.
Powered by 4 diesel engines, the boats reach a maximum speed of approximately
40 knots.
The kit consists of 148 individual parts is characterized among other things by the authentic reproduction of all weapons systems, including the rail system for mines.
