BATTLESTAR GALACTICA
The latest development of the famed Viper Mk. II, the 9.86 m long Viper Mk VII saw service in the Colonial Fleet 40 years after the first Cylon War and therefore at the time of the later Cylon attack. Although the design of the Viper was gradually developed over the years, the basic structure remained, with a view to use on the Colonial Battlestars. The Viper was still flown by one pilot and was suitable for flight in both planetary atmosphere and deep space. However obvious changes were in the dimensions, equipment and performance. The Mk VII was particularly good for its manoeuvrability and operational capabilities.
