DASSAULT-BREGUET SUPER ETENDARD
The Dassault-Breguet Super Étendard is a developed version of the 1950s Étendard IV, which served with the French Navy for many years. With design and uprated engine power, the first Super Étendard flew on 29th October 1974 and entered service with the French Navy in 1978. The type achieved considerable fame for the Argentine Navy during the 1982 Falklands Conflict, and the Iraq Navy Super Étendards carried out many attacks against shipping in the Persian Gulf during the 1984-85 period.
